This READ-ME file goes along with any new set of opponents for HEARTS DELUXE !
HOW TO INSTALL THIS SET OF OPPONENTS:
1) Place the unstuffed* opponent file you just downloaded in the same folder as Hearts Deluxe. DO NOT PLACE THE archive folder IN THE HEARTS DELUXE FOLDER, just the new opponent set itself.
(Place the new opponents right next to the ZakRobJen file, it should look similar.)
2) That's it! You should now be able to use it either by double clicking on the opponent file or from within Hearts Deluxe by choosing, "Load New Opponents..." from the FILE menu.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE HEARTS DELUXE
In order to use an Opponent File, or Hearts Deluxe Plug-In, you must already have a copy of HEARTS DELUXE which is available on the internet, America Online or any number of other places. If you have access to the internet, you can find the latest information at:

Glossary:
UNSTUFF (i.e. .sit or .sea) : Most files on the internet come "stuffed" this means they are compressed so they can be sent over phone lines quicker. In order to use them you must decompress, or unstuff them. There is a very useful utility called StuffIt Expander that is available free from almost anywhere Mac software is found. You might try a local User's Group. The America OnLine software automatically unstuff's files for you.
BINHEX (i.e. .hqx): A file is sometimes "binhex'ed" to insure that all the nice Mac things like a program's ICON are transferred correctly through non-macintosh machines. To "un-binhex" a file you should also use StuffIt Expander.
